They Came...they Learned and they Conquered their 2023 season... all while having a lot of fun! The 2022 Golf Business Canada Conference & Trade Show held in Vancouver from November 29 to December 1 was back in-person after a 2-year hiatus. The conference took place virtually during those 2 pandemic years and although it was deemed a success by the delegates and suppliers, they did tell us they could not wait to get back to an in-person event. And, did they show up!
This conversation took place at the NGCOA Canada head office, about three weeks before the conference. “Hey Jeff, just wanted to let you know that we will be sending out a message this afternoon to our members that the conference is sold out,” stated Nathalie Lavallee, COO of the NGCOA Canada, as she walked into the office of Jeff Calderwood, CEO
of the NGCOA Canada. “What?”, exclaimed Jeff. “Impossible, the hotel is huge,” were the next words that came out of Jeff’s mouth.
The truth of the matter is that we had outgrown all of the space at all of the venues hosting the conference. The 2022 conference hit attendance records that had never been achieved in the conference’s 22-year history. When all was said and done, we hit several more milestones!
