Rounds and Weather Improved in May
Dry conditions across the country made for a very favourable golf environment in May 2018. Rounds are up on a national scale showing increases in all subsets. The above-average month has assisted most regions after a very poor start to the golf season this past April. Most areas showed May Rounds Played increases over last season with the exception of Alberta and the Prairies where wintery conditions persisted into part of the month slowing the opening of many courses.
As indicated in the Weather Report, all operators scored above average weather conditions across the country this past May. Members are participating and utilizing these reports more than ever. Thank you to all participating members for their efforts!
Your NGCOA Canada Rounds Played and Weather Report information and data requests will be delivered to your inbox the rst Tuesday of each month, or you can view them online at www.ngcoa.ca.
