The concept of dynamic pricing
is now as familiar to golf course
operators as tee time management
itself. However, it has now matured
far beyond a blunt tool, such as
charging more on weekends and
less on weekdays. Instead, dynamic
pricing now encompasses a range of
strategies from simple, rules-based
adjustments to more sophisticated,
data-informed systems. The most
effective approaches proactively
anticipate demand, rather than just
respond to it.
While revenue remains the
primary goal, dynamic pricing can
do much more. It can influence
booking behaviour, reduce no-
shows, support loyalty initiatives,
