Golf, Arnold Palmer famously said, is both deceptively simple and endlessly complicated. The same can also be said for brewing. Humans have a unique and longstanding passion for combining hops, yeast, grain, and water to make a crisp, beautiful - and deceptively simple - drink. In fact, evidence of brewing has been traced back as far as 11,000 BC. And, despite changes in Canadians’ drinking habits, beer is still the most popular alcoholic beverage in this country. In 2020, the average adult Canadian enjoyed almost 70 litres of beer.
Longevity and popularity like this don’t happen without a willingness to change, to adapt and to meet the needs of consumers where they are. This is as true in the golf industry as it is in the brewing industry.
