SEASON RECAP
With the calendar flipping into the New Year, let us reflect on the 2024
golf season. For consistency across all provinces, the “golf season”
includes rounds from April 1 to October 31.
Rounds played nationally ended on a positive note with a modest
2% increase over 2023. This represents the second consecutive year
of year over year (YoY) improvement and the second highest national
average recorded since our tracking began in 2014, trailing only the
2021 season.

Quebec’s 9.8% YoY improvement was largely driven
by strong regional growth in the Eastern Townships
and Quebec City, which saw increases of 28.7% and
17.6%, respectively, compared to 2023.
Rounds played increased in 8 of 10 provinces and a
strong year from the Atlantic provinces has narrowed
the historical rounds played gap with the Western
provinces.
