“Hey David, it's Liz. You just flew by me. What’s the rush?”
“Hey yourself. Hang on a sec. I gotta turn the radio down. Okay, how's that?”
“Better, but there's still a lotta static. What's new with you?”
“Not much. I'm heading to the airport for a short trip to New York. My art buyer quit last week so I'm doing double duty. How ‘bout you?”
“We've been crashing on a new business pitch so it's been caffeine city at the agency. Say, I've been meaning to call you. Have you seen Jane lately?”
“Not since our rafting trip to Colorado about six months ago. It was supposed to be one of those reconnecting trips but I guess our relationship was too far gone.”
