Ingredients:
• 1 pound ground venison or ground Italian venison sausage
• Spaghetti base (canned or jar of brand of choice. We like Hunts traditional.)
• 1/2 to 1 diced green pepper (opt)
• 1/4 to 1/2 cup diced sweet onion (opt)
• 2 cloves crushed minced garlic (opt)
• Can of tomatoes or
a few frozen garden tomatoes (opt)
• spaghetti noodles
• top with shredded parmesan cheese
(we sometimes sub in cottage cheese)

30 minutes
Cooking time:
30-35 minutes
Mark & Jeanne’s spaghetti
Brown ground venison, add vegetables and cook a few minutes to soften, then add spaghetti sauce base (or keep it simple and just use the canned sauce).
Boil water and cook spaghetti noodles.
Pour glass of wine, light a candle, and plate the noodles with venison spaghetti sauce. Top with pepper and cheese. Add a side salad if you like.
