    NANA,
Like the 1st law of Newton
– ‘an object continues to stay stationary or a in constant state of motion until and unless an external force is applied to it’ – Nana has become the driving external force of inspiration and pride throughout my life.
The only man with no ill intentions in his heart, warmly welcoming any
child under his guidance and nurturing them as if they were his own with great patience and wisdom just like the 2nd Law of Newton “F=ma”
he remains grounded like a gravitational force even after achieving immense prosperity.
Today, I want to reveal something to him and the entire family.
I remember this incident from when I was a child: I was studying physics and chemistry during my GCSEs, I had very low morale, and
I remember coming back home extremely distressed after a session with Nana, so angry that I stormed into my room and started crying. Mom eventually caught on and was furious at me for behaving in that way and she started getting angry at me for disrespecting Nana! After a while, she was done, I quietly sat next to her and told her what had happened. I told her, that I was not
angry at the fact that he was strict towards me that day, but I was angry because I never want to disappoint him ever in my life. He taught me with so much passion and I still did not perform to his expectations, but I was able to see his genuine concern and worry for me like I have not seen in anyone before and till date, nana, I am only working towards making you
proud! His teaching methods reflected Newton’s 3rd Law ‘Every action has as equal and opposite reaction’. Every year in school we would have an assignment to interview someone who we are inspired by and I have not changed my answer yet!
A few words of wisdom that he gave me and made sure were embedded into me are:
