As a new day dawns, hopes and expectations abound. Today we celebrate the enduring wisdom and health of our beloved Yogesh Kaka – the pillar of Kusumgar family.
A thorough academician, Kaka has always enjoyed being in touch with his roots in the family. He is a veteran in the textile industry and has been serving as a mentor for over five decades. Back in the ’60s, when I was learning to take my toddler steps, Kaka was the principal of the textile institute. One of the fondest memories of times back then was... ‘Kaka tata karo ne’.
I would refuse to go to school unless Kaka said ‘tata’... and ended up missing school one day
The most famous line I picked up from Masa is “Do not trouble trouble or trouble will trouble you”. Not that I understood this the first time he uttered it. Later I understood its true meaning and even today I believe in it and use it frequently.
His ability to do multi-

favourite. He will think it
through in all aspects and in
as Kaka was not available for tata that day!
Kaka’s focus on perfection, meticulousness and academics makes him the most sought- after mentor for the Kusumgar family, friends, and peers alike. Having said that, Kaka is not one to buckle under pressure; and is known to stand steadfast through difficult times.
Kaka, we all are tiny little buds of flowers who have bloomed under the guidance of your branches of tender love and care. We seek your blessing always.
I wish you a healthy and happy life ahead. Keep me blessed Kaka.

Yogeshkaka has always been there for me. Whenever I need help, I can call Kaka anytime and he will reply and he will help.
It is a big thing for me to know that there is someone like him - I respect him like my own father.

It was very interesting to watch him dictate letters
to Swami. Clarity in his thoughts, his command
over language and mastery over his favourite subject - textiles. I was lucky to see him in action on a few of
his star projects like Nissan Service Center, Export to Russia, Missile Nose Cone fabric etc. it was great to see maestro in action.
me. Even today, if I have a complex problem, I will say, in my mind, let’s try YKK’s method to understand it first. He is definitely a brand, a hero, and a role model.
I am lucky that I got a chance to be with him and learned so much.
