     Excellence in Innovative Childcare –
Sisters Carry on a Legacy of Love
Working parents, wake up and smell the bread baking! There’s an exceptional option in childcare now, thanks to the imagination and commitment of two forward-thinking sisters and their innovative vision. Meet Frida Pesin and Esta Karpulis, “Our little friends feel loved like family. When encouraged as individuals with their distinct developmental needs being met, the children find learning fun! We named the daycare after our amazing mother, who came here with so little and built a life running her beauty business for decades. The hairstylists adored her, nicknaming her Mama Roza.”
Their mother’s legacy of love is reflected in every aspect of their business through thoughtful little kindnesses like surprising exhausted parents at pickup with freshly-made dinners and sending postcards and birthday gifts to children on summer vacation. Bread-making wouldn’t exactly be among the learning list activities at a typical daycare, but, make no mistake, Mama Roza Garden Childcare definitely doesn’t fit that description. Designed to be your preschoolers’ safe, stress-free second home where every day is an enticing, educational adventure, Mama Roza’s is undoubtedly in a class by itself, from the eye-level activities centers where valuable lessons in numbers, language, and life skills are happily absorbed through play, right through to children growing actual produce in the signature tower gardens, one of Frida’s many inventive ideas.
“Our Healthy Food Program includes homemade international selections to expand the children’s taste appreciation. My son’s daycare offered only processed foods, which made fresh produce a struggle. The tower garden changed everything. When he started actually growing veggies, he was much more inclined.
We make the bread from scratch. It’s fun, smells delicious, and it essentially teaches scientific cause and
effect! The children can share theirs with family. Having been a working mom, I’m always looking to help.”
If the motivated Frida is the parent advocate, her business and education career experience the driving
force behind this distinctive model for quality childcare, the nurturing Esta with her twenty-five years of early- learner-education expertise is the children’s champion.
“Each child is unique, growing, developing at their own pace. It’s so rewarding introducing them to
fresh, exciting experiences. When they discover something new, they feel so good about
themselves; the glow is contagious.”
Together, they’re the dream team, both passionate about fostering a safe, happy,
and respectful working environment and providing an outstanding daycare
experience. “We treat our clients like family. The children grow and move on in
their education and their lives, but they know they’d be welcomed back for visits with open arms.”
Mama Roza must be so proud.
