ife is beautiful. I’m Suzette Conje, a Manual Osteopathic Therapist and Registered Massage Therapist here in Edmonton as well as in Vancouver. I am originally from the Philippines; then, I lived in Dubai for almost four years before migrating to Canada 12 years ago
to pursue my dream to become a doctor.
I remember vividly hotel clients where I worked telling me: “Go and be a
doctor we don’t want to see you next visit”. However, as the second of four siblings, we grew up very poor without electricity, going to school without shoes and walking two hours to get there. We often only ate sweet potatoes and bananas, and one apple a year on Christmas day, so I
have to savor every bite. I played with dried leaves and branches. But we are happy, and these challenges didn’t stop me from dreaming
I have faced many challenges throughout my life. As a single mom of two children, there are daily challenges to ensure my children have a good life. When my mom, my grandmother, and my youngest sister died in a tragic bus accident that took 38 lives back home, I realized that we have to live our full potential no matter how difficult the challenge.
I will share my blessings by helping children, providing food, education, clothing and family. That’s why right now, I have to get out of my comfort zone, challenge myself, and be crystal focus on the goal that is ahead of me.
I’m grateful to God for all the blessings he gave
us. I took that leap of Faith with Courage and Grit. According to Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”. Every single day, I consider it a miracle because life is too short and contentment is the key to happiness.
Mother Theresa is one of my inspirations. She is selfless
and passionate in helping others. I want to dedicate my life to
finding a cure for cancer after I become a doctor. Helping one another
is an absolute requirement of mankind. That’s why as a Manual Osteopathic Therapist and Registered Massage Therapist, my goal is to render my help in the most excellent caring manner. Love and respect is what we need to live in harmony.
I strongly believe that if you put your trust in God by petition through prayers, every desire of your heart will be given.
I’m very optimistic and committed in fulfilling my dream. Buckle up and GRIT UP YOUR Life. To God be the Glory!
