igtopia! A pigture perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. This idyllic getaway is located close to Millet, just a short drive to rural Alberta where you can enjoy animal “therapy” that heals you.
When Covid-19 became a pandemic, I found myself with time on my hands and trouble in my heart and mind. The news was getting scarier each day and I realized that being with my beloved pets helped me shift my focus to a much more positive state. It was then I decided that EVERYONE needed
this wonderful opportunity! Pigtopia was literally born out of love, passion and a determination to make this small patch of the world a better place!
I am now redesigning the perfect getaway! Complete with the soul nurturing animals! Since my dad was always a big animal lover, I realized at a young age how much an animal can
heal your heart. This became especially true after his death in December of 2010. There is
something soothing and calming about being in the presence of animals who only know how to offer life long, unconditional love.

Pigtopia is truly the best of nature and the best of farm life. Camping, birthday parties, special events surrounded by the love of animals, this is the
place you can have it all. I left the world of 9 to 5 behind to nurture my love for both nature and animals. Starting with two little pigs, Moana and Pua,

my love for growing the farm over the past two years has flourished! Following a devastating house fire in December 2018,
I realized that it was time to make some serious changes, in both personal and professional aspects of life. Now, in my mid 40’s I have been truly blessed with
a beautiful piece of property that seems as if it were a timeless photo come to life, where I am creating the life I
have longed for and want to share it with you!
I love all the positive feedback I have been receiving! People are sending
pictures and so many kind words regarding their experiences at Pigtopia. I am so happy that I have been able to help families reconnect with nature
and animals while getting out of their homes through these hard times. I have a beautiful crazy idea of creating a mental health and wellness healing
center where everyone can experience the love animals show. I honestly believe that no matter the race, breed, color of skin or how many legs you
have, everyone deserves love!
