                                                     Greetings, Sorors!
                                                             It’s time to “fall back” to

                   Basileus Corner                   AKA! Yes, that is a joke…testing your
                                                     sense of humor. I recognize that we have

                   Soror Wilma J. Ruffin not had a summer break. For some

                                                                reason, around February and March of

                                                     this year, I thought we would, but we

                                                     continued to remain excited and

                                                     motivated about the many service

                                                     opportunities afforded us through Alpha

Kappa Alpha. As you know, Launching New Dimensions of Service offers a myriad of program

and service opportunities that allow us to serve our community and the world by answering the call to
“concrete” issues and concerns. My Dear Sorors of Epsilon Gamma Omega, thank you for your

continuous commitment to answering those calls. Though you were doing the work of Alpha Kappa

Alpha, I hope you had an exciting summer.

        As you peruse the contents of this issue of “The EGO Ivy Informer,” you will be wonderfully
presented highlights of the events of the summer and ongoing and upcoming events. Thank you “The
EGO Ivy Informer” Editor and team for another outstanding issue.

        I have already shared some of these thoughts, but I cannot find new words to express my views
about the 67th Boule’. It was “BREATHTAKAING”! I was honored to attend as an Epsilon Gamma
Omega Chapter Delegate and as your Basileus. Thank you for the opportunity to serve. As I reviewed
