What are curly bres?
Curly bre is a specially developed, spiral-shaped cellulose bre used in the upper layer of the absorbent core next to the skin. These curly bres are unique to HARTMANN continence pads.
A recent study by Dr Bliss found that HARTMANN briefs with curly bre, help promote healing of Incontinence Associated Skin Damage (IASD).
Dr Bliss concluded that briefs with curly bres have the potential to prevent, reduce severity and promote healing of IASD in residents. HARTMANN produces the ONLY adult briefs with curly bre in New Zealand.
A continence management plan that includes HARTMANN continence products which contain curly bre will lower/acidify pH of skin.
