Almond oil is a particularly e ective natural emollient. It contains a high amount of oleic – a substance that is very similar to natural lipids and can be utilised more easily. Furthermore, almond oil includes linoleic acid – natural essential fatty acids
(omega – 6 essential fatty acids) that deliver valuable energy for skin cells as well as basic components for cell wall structure.
Linoleic acid also softens and smoothes the skin. A third important part of almond oil is palmitic acid – a substance than can be found in the acid protection mantle. Palimitic acid eases the penetration into the skin.
