* ERDOHAN CENK (TUR) MEETS... Erdohan Cenk is an internationally touring fretless guitar virtuoso from Turkye, combining western jazz with traditional ethno music. He played with Trilok Gurtu and Tineke Postma. At Amersfoort Jazz he plays two concerts, one of these in duo with saxophonist Tineke Postma.

Turkish trombonist/composer Efe Erdem studied in Rotterdam. He is inspired
by music from the 18th/19th-century,
as well as contemporary grooves. His ensemble consists of a chordless jazz triad of bass, drums and trombone and a classical string quartet.
