Michelle An has been promoted to EVP, Head of Visual Creative at
Interscope Geffen A&M. While her job title has changed, An will continue to do what she and her team have become renowned for: collaborating with label artists on the visual elements of their proj- ects, ranging from video, photogra- phy, packaging and advertising to live shows, film and TV.
“Michelle represents the spirit and culture of this
company in a unique
and important way,
working closely with our artists on their visuals very early in their development, bringing their visions to life and helping them establish long lasting careers,” Vice
Bad Bunny’s RBurning Up
Chairman Steve Berman raved. “We look forward to her making even bigger contributions in her expanded role at IGA.”
An, whose previous title was SVP, Head of Creative, joined IGA in 2006 as part of its brand partnerships department before making a shift to the label’s creative department. Since 2012, when she became head of the cre- ative department, she’s mentored more than a dozen creative execu-
tives on her staff. On average, An and her team deliver more than 100 videos a year.
In 2019 alone, An worked with Billie Eilish, Selena Gomez, Tierra Whack, Lana Del Rey and 5 Seconds of Summer, among others, on their visuals.
imas’ Bad Bunny has deeply into the streaming demo- solidified his throne as the graphic in the U.S. As the 25-year- Latin streaming champ. His old sensation has risen to the top new album, YHLQMDLG, of the Urbano scene, he’s also
released early Saturday, 2/29, domi- stepped up as an activist, champi-
nated global and U.S. charts and debuted with the highest-charting all-Spanish-language album ever
at #2 with 179k units, along with obliterating Latin streaming records.
In just its first two days, Bunny’s LP generated over 60m streams domestically, surpassing the previous U.S. Latin first-week streaming record held by Ozuna’s Aura (55m) on its way to a 200m+ debut week. YHLQMDLG has already surpassed 500m streams globally on Spotify.
Bunny’s last solo album, the criti- cally acclaimed X100pre, dropped on Christmas Eve in 2018 (a Monday), debuting at #29 with 30k units, and peaked in week two at #11.
Much like Drake and Post Malone, Bad Bunny has penetrated
oning LGBTQ rights within Latin communities and leading protests against political corruption in his native Puerto Rico. As a result, he’s become a major figure cultur- ally as well as musically on the global stage.
