Mom Dylan Rhodes Small and meek, she takes my hand Helps me to walk, helps me to stand Each time I fall, she helps me up, Fills my plate and fills my cup The wonders she presents to me, About the world, how I am free To be just who I want to be And blossom like a daisy. I bring my wrath, but every time She calms me down and says “You’re fine.” The bond we have could never break Not plastic, fragile, never fake. Always there, and real, and smart; Supporting me, my heart and art In spirit never leaves my side Encouraging me not to hide. Mom loves me and she is wise Holds my hand through all my cries I’m older now, but still I know Our friendship will always be so. I love you, Mom.
