I look back on the life I had Wishing I did more. I’ve found no satisfaction In thinking of my time on this planet For my adventure was never complete. There are hundreds of countries, yet I’ve travelled nowhere but my quiet home. There are hundreds of possible lovers, yet I’ve loved no one who wouldn’t leave me to be alone. The sad life I have lived. A life that was not shared. Only if I loved more than lied, A long happy life I would wear. O the sad life I have lived. All that is left is me in despair.
