YELLOW
BRICK ROAD
The baby steps her first fragile step;
the floor cries as it realizes what’s left for her.
Her destined path, set in stone,
yet malleable to the youngin’s touch.
What else is left for her might you ask?
A world as ruthless as the unforgiving waves;
The Prussian blue waters bearing the deadly creatures. The little girl can float on the lifeboat with the others,
on the tenebrous water as the ship sinks. Unknowingly floating over deadly viruses, and vicious forms of what seems not of life.
Although the girl decides not to and jumps straight into water, the water, numbing to its touch, sweeps the girl,
into his dark abyss of ambiguity.
People overlook that the water can be forgiving at times.
He sends her, lost as she seems, although
He knows what he is doing.
She hopes, as she struggles to maintain breath, until she glimpes the beauty of land.
There, a galaxy away from civilization, she has never felt so free,
terrified as she is, yet some kind of liberty has been pursued against her.
She misses home,
but has found ways to survive and discovers the undiscovered.
he may be stranded, but we all make it, and her way may be the ultimate way.
Isn’t that the opposite of what you want?
