A wise man once said,
“The future is a concept, it doesn’t exist.”
This simple line
is valuable enough to stop all time,
to keep a narcoleptic up past their bedtime,
to teach a rich man the importance of a small, worthless dime, to make an ignoramus grateful for every enzyme,
to help a defeatist live up to their prime.
People who only await the future.
Will never realize the true brilliance of carpe diem,
But long for something that will never ever meet them.
