Health Care Practitioners’ Overriding Concerns
Overwhelming Stress Factors
Without question, the most overburdened working population in our “AC” world is our health care professionals. (We must also give recognition here to hospital attendants, the police, the armed forces, politicians, grocery and phar- macy staff, truck drivers, and many more who deserve the highest praise.) These are our true heroes. Without hesitation, health care practitioners sacrifice their lives every day for the public welfare. Some have come out of retirement during the COVID-19 crisis to be on the front- lines of the pandemic, saving lives, without regard to their own well-being.
Notwithstanding their extraordinary efforts, however, many have lost patients to the virus, and as a result, have
