Dog and Cat Fleas • 1⁄2 cup (125 ml) apple cider vinegar • 1⁄2 tbsp (2 .5 ml) tea tree essential oil
• 1 tsp (5 ml) lavender
Shake well .
Apply to the affected area with a cotton swab twice a day .
Cut Flowers • 2 tbsp vinegar (30 ml)
• 1 tbsp sugar (15 ml) to 1 cup (250 ml) of water
Place flowers in this mixture to keep them fresh longer .
Calcium Buildup in Pots • 1 part white vinegar to 7 parts water
Soak terracotta pots for 24 hours and then rinse
with water to remove calcium buildup .
Lettuce • A few drops of white vinegar
To get rid of insects, wash lettuce with water mixed with a few drops of vinegar .
