A Word from Rosie
My full name is Rosemarie, I don’t mind which name you call me. I have been married to John for 49 years, I can’t believe it! I’ve always liked roller coasters, full of excitement and drama. Well, that’s how my life has been, but without it all I wouldn’t be here today, serving my Lord. Having Jesus in me has changed my outlook on life. I’m focused on what he wants from me, and what I can do for him.
We have four children: David the eldest (46y) lives in South Wales and is married to Michelle who has a son Ryan. David works as a railway planner. Like his Dad he has always had a fascination for trains, so this is his dream job.
Andrew (44y) like his sisters, lives in Leeds, and he too has his dream job working on computers. Anyone looking for a husband or girlfriend, he is a good catch, even if I say it myself! He loves his nieces and nephews to pieces. He plays the piano as does his Dad,
his brother and Jennifer.
Jennifer (43y) has a partner Anthony and children Cora (6y) and Oscar (3y). She loves her work as a senior air hostess, flying world wide. I have the joy of looking after them when she is working so some of you will have met them here at the Army. Oscar enjoys being entertained by Terry.
Elizabeth (40) has a partner Kris and children Rian (16y) Eleanor (13y) and Lydia (10y). Elizabeth has been a home Mum until last year. She now works in a multi-cultural college, where English is the second language to 50% of the pupils. She is very calm and patient, so the job suits her well.
A year ago, the family were devastated when Eleanor was taken ill, and spent time in hospital.
