Those of you on Facebook will have been able to see some videos of me singing that I have posted over the last few months and I really hope you’ve enjoyed them but I know that not all of you do use Facebook. If you do want to see/hear some of what I have done and have access to the internet, you might be able to find me by searching ‘Genevieve Kathryn’ on the YouTube website or app. I know this may come across as a bit of self promotion but I honestly feel like one of the best ways to get to know me is to hear me sing. It has always been a massive part of my life and my faith, and is something that I just love doing!
In only a few months time, I will (hopefully) be graduating and moving to Scunthorpe full time. I am both very excited and very scared about this! I am looking forward to continuing the work I’ve been doing at the Army, over the coming summer but it also means I’ll be looking to start my first full-time job! I’m hoping to be able to find work in schools as a teaching assistant or support worker, or in some kind of youth work, in order to gain more experience and hopefully move on to bigger youth work roles in the future!
Whilst I’ve been at home in Scunthorpe, I have had the pleasure of working with my Mum a lot at the hall and getting stuck in with the food bank, the Christmas toy appeal and other general jobs. I’ve been really enjoying it and am excited about getting involved in other corps activities when we are able to open!
