1.1 Scaling Up Innovative Road Safety Operations in Pakistan and Other Countries
Trained Pakistan engineers and consultants in road assessment, using the International Road Assessment Programme model and its expertise.
1.2 Scaling Up Innovative Urban Transport Operations in Fiji and Other Countries
Developed action plans for sustainable transport (involving tra c planning, pedestrians, and public transport) in Fiji, as well as five Southeast Asian cities.
1.3 Consolidating and Replicating Innovative Service Delivery Practices in Districts in Indonesia
Made measurable improvements to the education and health-care-related public service complaints mechanism and made a strong case for scale-up and replication. It was replicated in two districts.
2.1 Human Resources for Integrated Health-Care Delivery in Armenia
Mapped out future trends in human resources for health, together with Armenia’s Ministry of Health.
2.3 Pulling Moisture from the Atmosphere for Clean Drinking Water in Vanuatu
Piloted the use of moisture from the atmosphere that allowed a community to have clean drinking water. The equipment supplier has used the pilot as a test case for expansion into remote areas.
1.4 Applying Graduation Programs to End Extreme Poverty in the Philippines Provided data for cost-e ective decision-making for an intervention that is proven to be highly e ective, but which has high start-up costs.
2.4 “Safetipin” for Women’s Safety in Viet Nam
Used a personal safety app where high-volume, reliable, crowdsourced, gender-sensitive urban audit data supported the infrastructure planning process. It also increased social accountability, and demonstrated the unique role that youth-led projects can play in this.
2.6 Developing a Digital Health Strategy in Vanuatu
Avoided fragmentation of the health information systems and promoted implementation of single-entry, multiple use data collection.
2.8 Toilet Board Coalition's Toilet Accelerator Program in Bangladesh, India, and the Philippines
Tested the mechanism for engaging an external partner to pilot a toilet accelerator program innovation on a small-scale basis in Bangladesh, India, and the Philippines.
