the KCRPCA gathered beneath Union Station’s iconic clock. Actually we gathered just a few steps to its south at Harvey’s restaurant.
There, dressed in their holiday nest, members mingled about the upper section of the Harvey’s restaurant, better known to long time KC residents as Fred Harvey’s. With drinks and appetizers in hand, conversations owed freely.
Soon a scrumptious buffet was opened and guests moved through the line and then to their dining tables. Once seated the splendor of the station was absorbed. Dressed in its Christmas attire of heavy green garland, lofty r trees, lights dripping down from the main hall’s
and below.
Before forks were raised, outgoing President Tim Bubniak led everyone in a rousing champagne toast. Much too soon, after a ne meal and much conversation, members gradually parted to go their separate ways. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to one and all. May visions of Caymans and Boxsters, Macans and 911s dance in your heads this holiday season.
