MAKE A PORSCHE WISH
EXPERIENCE CENTER
A HANDS ON EXPERIENCE OF PORSCHE’S FINEST WISH LIST.
ST LOUIS CLUB MEMBER RIC SMITH
With all that has happened in our country during 2020, these very words resonate more than ever. I am approaching my 8th anniversary with PCA since getting that
first phone call from a stranger named T Jones. Over the past 14 months and during some great early Saturday morning drives,
I had a chance to reflect on what is truly important. Sharing great experiences with friends and staying connected with my family was at the top of the list - and that includes my Porsche family.
For me, the pandemic was a motivation to reset and realign and to remain focused on living life in gratitude and with the pedal more on the gas and less on the brake.
I have experienced that the KCRPCA is a community of like-minded people and over the
past several years, we have had some truly memorable events and experiences. As the effects of the pandemic begin to recede and life returns to some level of normalcy, I, like others, am anxious to get back out there and engage with the club, our brand, and our community.
Some might recall that back in 2017, we organized the first KCRPCA club event at the Porsche Experience Center in Atlanta and the feedback we received was very enthusiastic. For many, it was their first time at such an event and the team at Porsche North America were the perfect hosts. Since then, several of us members had mentioned that we needed to return to the PEC, yet COVID inevitably delayed it another year.
Thanks to Jeff Wagoner for providing the impetus this year
