The driving experience. In a little over half a century, I’ve accumulated well over half a million miles with a Porsche steering wheel in my hands. I still enjoy the sense of absolute control coming from the excellent design, engineering and construction that results in these machines
that get me quickly, safely and confidently from point A to point B. I always end up at point B smiling.
7DID YOU PERSONALIZE YOUR CAR?
Yes, extensively, by telling the factory exactly what we wanted on the 911. The only personalization since delivery was deciding where to put the commemorative 50-year PCA Membership window decal.
8NEXT
UPGRADE?
The next upgrade will be in a few years, when we have to decide where to put the 60-year PCA Membership window decal.

FAVORITE CAR
Long road trips with grandkids. Teenagers are attracted to fast, Yellow Porsche Cabriolets strongly enough to accept riding along
with their old grandfather. So,
one grandkid at a time, for 7-10 days at a time, visiting prospective college campuses added up to a lot of quality one-on-one time. The total was 18,000 miles to get to 29 orientations at 23 different colleges during the last 5 summers. All in my Favorite car with some of my favorite passengers.
