The automotive restoration management emphasis
at McPherson College pairs technical and business curriculums for students who are interested in automotive restoration as well as the business of historic restoration. The college’s combination
of business classes with a restoration degree intrigued Dano Davis. It motivated him to support the program with a $1 million challenge gift to put toward developing scholarships and business workshops that will enhance the restoration management track.
Recently, McPherson College
~ Editor
announced that it secured matching gifts to meet the Davis challenge three months ahead of schedule.
While the gift will enhance opportunities within the track for future students, Aaron Israel, a 2018 McPherson College graduate who majored in the automotive restoration management track, has already benefitted from the unique program.
“I knew coming into McPherson College that I wanted to focus on business, so the emphasis was just what I was looking for,” Israel said. “The restoration classes
