they need a little more force to get them on.

Gently tilt the airbag bracket forward. WARNING, the contained bolts are now uncontained. They will very easily fall out. If they do and you lose them, this cheap Boxster
fix just got more expensive. Losing
a bolt under your seat will cost you $13.40. That is an expensive bolt considering it is the size of your pinkie fingernail.
With all 0-Rings in place, four in the front and four in the back, you can begin to reassemble the steering wheel.
Put the airbag bracket back in place. Be careful to align the airbag bracket hex bolts to the back of the steering wheel. The four front 3/4” bolts will help with this alignment.
Tighten the front 3/4” bolts snug,

then loosen by 1/4 a turn. Too tight and there will not be enough play for your horn to move. You need a horn.
Finally, you will need the T-30 torx wrench to bolt on the back of the steering wheel. Make this tight. Securing the airbag bracket to the main steering wheel is important.

Great article Karl. I’ll have to try that fix myself one of these
