REVIEWING PORSCHES

In the last edition of the Der Sportwagen, Jul/Aug ‘22, I had the opportunity to interview club member Fred Quintana. I learned about his 911 Turbo. I learned about its history, what makes it special, it’s horsepower and I even got to start the car.

I really enjoyed the process of meeting Fred, asking questions, my Dad taking pictures, and then seeing what Stan Thorne, Editor of the Der Sportwagen, did to produce the final video. His video was pretty cool. You can watch the full video interview with Fred HERE.
For my fifth interview of the year, Stan connected me with
reading this, please pay for a lot of college for me. I need one of these lifts some day.)
Jim told me a lot of very interesting details about his 914. Did you know ‘76 was the last year of the 914, accessing the engine is through the “hell hole”, and most 914s have rusted out? Overall a very cool car. I hope you like the interview.
