His Story
forward 30 years when our daughters got off the payroll to when my wife began goading me into looking at something she saw online, a Boxster. I kept resisting and figured I’d never do it.

AI FAMILY ADVENTURE
The day before I went to Kauai on a guy trip in 2016, she came down with a lead on a really clean Boxster. I finally threw up my hands and said “Ok”. I looked at it that night. I was so impressed I put a deposit down, knowing that she would have to close the deal. I would be leaving the next morning for nearly 2 weeks.
While on my guys trip I got a surprise picture from my wife. It was of “my” Seal grey 2001 5-speed Boxster sitting in the garage! I almost did not believe it. Funny how a new Porsche sitting in your garage can make you want to end a vacation early.
Once home I was in for a big change. I’d been driving a Lexus LS400 daily for nearly 11 years. It was a great car. The Lexus’ ability to cocoon you from the driving experience was both good and bad, mostly good. With the Boxster, I drive with the road rather than being removed from it. It is a huge difference. And I must say, I’m thrilled every time I get behind the wheel of the Boxster. It is like I have discovered the joy of driving all over again.
