The beauty of using a simulator is that rubbing the guard rails only requires the driver to visit the pits and not to visit Rodney or Joe at Porsche Kansas City. You can visit Rodney and Joe for the regular visits with an expected smile and exuberance any time.
The raffle at the end of the evening gave two very lucky members handmade artwork that will look fantastic in their home or in the garage. Judging by the smiles of the winners, I think they were pleasantly surprised and glad they stayed for the drawing. We already have a different raffle theme in mind for next year.
Having the chance to visit with 30 year members as well as aspiring members and talk cars, families, steering wheels, the next Porsche, track time, raffle prize art, garage ideas, Porsche colors, reminded me why it’s so great to be a part of the Porsche Club. Quite simply put, I think PCA’s slogan rings so very true each and every time the Kansas City Region has a gathering. “It’s not about the cars, it’s
