  added. Headers, deep oil pan and other modifications were added by Yenko to create the Yenko Stinger for race season 1966. Each car received a number tag attached to the driver’s door jamb.
In addition to the 100 COPO Yenko Stingers built for 1966, there were 14 COPO Yenko Stingers built for 1967 and 1 built in 1969 for Goodyear Tire to test 13” tires.
I was getting to see an ultra-rare car indeed. Having had a “death trap” (as
described by Ralph Nader) in our family when I was learning to drive (it had a push button automatic), I really enjoyed just hovering over some of the finer details of the car. This one was sure sportier than the one our family had!
Then, I turn the corner and yes, a signed Carrol Shelby 1968 Mustang. Then, just a line-up of older Mustangs, T-Birds, Corvettes, etc.
I especially got a kick out of the Pete’s Patriot and SteakMaker 1969 AMX’s!
