PORSCHE RS60
MY BOXSTER RS60 SPYDER SAGA

I’ve wanted a 2008 Boxster RS60 Spyder since I saw the first one in 2008. Just a cool car!
My financial advisor, (my wife), seemed to be ok with the idea of getting one, so I started looking in earnest. There were a few options that I wanted and would not buy one without these: the red interior, (they came in red or grey), and heated seats. There were other options I wanted, but would do without if the right car came along.
I found one in late 2017 that seemed too good to be true. And it was. Some crook in London was trying to sell one on cars.com that I learned he didn’t even own. That’s another story.

Then I found one in Scottsdale, Arizona, with less than 7k miles. The car looks like it is brand new. I couldn’t get to Scottsdale to check it out, but luckily for me a friend and fellow Porsche owner was in Scottsdale and was able to drive it and check it for me. He

Like a lot of car guys, I never stop looking at classifieds and auctions for my next car; even if I am not really in the market.

to northern California, rent a car and see grandkids for a week,
then head south to see friends
and relatives all the way to San Diego. Then a drive to Scottsdale, dump the rental car and drive the
