1WHAT YEAR DID YOU JOIN THE PCA?
I joined the Kansas City Region PCA in September 2022 as a Test Drive member. I was looking
to purchase my first Porsche, a Boxster, but had lots of questions. After talking to many great members at the Saturday breakfast meetings, I finally decided on what I wanted. In November of 2022, I purchased a 987.2 base and became a full member.
3WHERE ARE YOU FROM?
I was born outside of Philadelphia PA and my parents moved to Kansas City when I was 10 years old. My wife and I lived in Houston, TX for 10 years and Detroit, MI for 2 years. We have lived in Overland Park, KS for the last 24 years.
4TELL US ABOUT YOUR FAMILY.
I have been married to a wonderful woman for the last 40 years. We met each other when we were at
the University of Kansas and got married after we graduated. We have a daughter that graduated from The Ohio State University and lives in Charlotte, NC and a son that graduated from the University

The KCRPCA is made up of a wonderful and diverse group of club members. We come from all walks of life and backgrounds. As Membership Chair, I always enjoy learning a little bit about everyone. In this month’s edition of the Der Sportwagen, I would like to introduce this month’s feature: very special club member Mark Anderson.
