Waiting for paint to dry was not as bad as it sounds. With quite a few club members there to help, watch, and offer the occasional wise- crack advice, the time passed quickly.

Here’s where the story gets interesting: I did the unthinkable, and I’m still here to tell you about it. I painted my calipers yellow. Yes... this surely lands me on the naughty P-Car list and I’m sure PPS (Porsche Protective Servic- es) is soon to be notified.
However, if you are one of the ones who think only PCCB optioned cars can wear yel- low calipers, I’m here to let you know that the car has somehow not spontaneously combust- ed upon the final coat of yellow paint curing. I know. I’m just as shocked as you.
Somewhere along the way; some people spec PCCB’s for the recognition, and not
for their stopping endurance and power. For those people, I say don’t worry; my brakes are
