CLUB MEMBERS 12 QUESTIONS MEET A CLUB MEMBER The KCRPCA is made up of a wonderful and diverse group of club members. We come from all walks of life and backgrounds. As Membership Chair, I always enjoy learning a little bit about everyone. In this month’s edition of the Der Sportwagen, I would like to introduce this month’s feature: very special club member Jim Cummings. MEMBERSHIP CHAIR DENNIS BROOK 1WHAT YEAR DID YOU JOIN THE PCA? 2008, about a week or so after I bought my car. 4TELL US ABOUT YOUR FAMILY. Well, there’s my bride of 31 years, Maja and our Mastiff, Harley, in the house. Additionally, we have family in Fulton, MO and southwest OK. 5WHAT LINE OF WORK ARE YOU IN? I’m a defense consultant and work out of the Pentagon 4 days a week. 6WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT YOUR PORSCHE? My first Porsche was a 914 I had in college. My wife will tell you that she married me for the car. What I like about my current cars is the 06 WHICH PORSCHE DO YOU OWN? 2 20 Der Sportwagen YEARS I’ve got an ‘01 Boxster S, Inga, here in Kansas City and I keep a ‘97 Boxster, Lili, in DC. Please don’t let that get out, I don’t want them to get jealous of each other. They’re named after the female leads in Mel Brooks movies. 3WHERE ARE YOU FROM? I was raised a south of Baltimore but settled in KC in 2001.
