Back home after a fantastic weekend at the Porsches in the Heartland event at Heartland Motor- sports Park. David Stadtmueller did a outstanding job of doing all the or- ganizing of the event. Most people don’t appreciate the work that goes into setting up one of these events. A terrific group of volunteers made everything run smoothly. The HMP staff know what they are doing and can handle anything required. But what makes it really work is the quality and enthusiasm of the club racers and DE folks that attend our events, what a great group of peo- ple! The Club racers put on 3 really exciting races for all of us to watch. Best thing for me though was see- ing friends Richard Bennett, Judy Bennett (here from their exile in Florida) and Kathy Stegge- Wright (the former owner of my beloved 996tt X50). Been too long between seeing these guys. Of course I don’t have a picture of them as we were too busy catching up!!. Thank for a great weekend Dave!
