after the spirited fun in discussing our experiences at dinner and the driving ability of each vehicle driver – the sub- ject really didn’t even come up. It truly was about the experience.
Before we knew it (4 hours’ worth for most), the ending of the driving event was upon us. While a bit sad, what wait- ed us after a short lunch on our own was a walking trip through the Center reveal- ing an entire area of classic Porsche’s! Countless pictures were taken and we essentially had the place to ourselves. History was on display to fully soak in the meaning of this speci c car culture. It also has an entire area of restoration projects. Sadly, the day at the Center came to an end. If you have never heard a bunch of “aged” people giggle so much in a van – you should have simply been there. And for Bill – that’s how the cow ate the cabbage.
But wait – Ric had a  nal crowning moment up his sleeve. He found a small restaurant that I probably would have driven by a dozen times and never no-
