Removing outer center lock hub Once the bearing is out, you can press in the new bearing, 5 lug hub, and put everything back together and mount your 5 lug wheel. Note: You will also remove the 5 red alignment nubs from the existing brake rotors, as you will not be using those, and the holes that they mount through are where your new lug bolts will pass through. Installing new wheel bearing Installing new 5 lug hub The rear is a little more complicated due to the axle in the way and the general design of the rear suspension, but the process of extracting and installing the bearing and hub are the same. After removing the brake rotor and caliper, you’ll need to pop loose your toe arm, upper dog bones, outer axle nut (similar to the stub axle nut in the front), and drop the inner end of the control arm out of the carrier. Then you can remove the outer end of the axle from the carrier, etc. From there, the process is the same as the front; press out the outer center lock hub, and press out the bearing. Once those are out, press in your new bearing and hub and start reassembly. :-) Hub removed, bearing exposed Removing wheel bearing Bearing removed from hub 20 SEP / OCT 2019
