KCRPCA SOCIAL RAY STEEBLE Breaking Bread With Friends KOCRPCA LUNCHEON This was a great idea, as our usual location for our annual ice cream social at the Parkville English Landing was still being cleaned up from the flooding along the Missouri River. Mud soaked fields and Porsches are like oil and water. Besides the prospect of anticipating great food, great friends, and it was air conditioned....! So my lovely wife, Patricia, and I had a nice drive in our 991 Turbo and arrived to find others arriving early as we parked next to each other for protection....it is always awesome to watch the cars roll in to a Porsche event and that afternoon fulfilled that notion. The club was given our own dining room and full menu - such a great place with one of the Cascone’s greeting our club for several minutes with a bit of local Italian restaurant history. The food and wine were excellent and we went away stuffed. It was a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon with Porsche friends and Porsche talk! Let’s do this again next year! - Ray n Saturday, August 3, 2019, the Kansas City Region was booked for a late lunch at Cascone’s north location on Oak Trafficway.
