Now that the winter is over, I hope that all of you enjoyed your Christmas and New Year with your families. Now it is time for our main event, our 2023 Annual Awards dinner dance on May 5th at Russo’s on the Bay. Congratulations to our Lieutenant Detective Joseph Petrosino 2023 Man of the year Deputy Chief Joseph Gulotta, Executive Officer of PBSI. He is a tremendous supporter of the NYPD Columbia Association for over 3 decades, as he was promoted time and again during his career. He is true blue and such an asset to this association along with the department. Your dedication and support is well noted sir! Job well done Chief, and congratulations again. You are a true inspiration to us and we are proud to call you one of our own! Our Italian American Achievement award goes to none other than Emily Compagno from Fox News. Emily Compagno currently serves as a co-host of ‘Outnumbered’ on FOX News Channel. She joined the network as a contributor in December 2018. In addition to her role at FNC, she is the host of FOX News Audio’s The FOX True Crime Podcast With Emily Compagno. Each week, Emily shares stories of survival, solved and unsolved murders, America’s most wanted killers, missing persons and celebrity crime trials. Emily is an attorney and has practiced law since 2006. Previously, she served as a federal managing attorney and Acting Director at the Social Security Administration, one of the top-ten largest U.S. agencies. She also practiced criminal defense and civil litigation in California. Emily is a big law enforcement supporter as she was our 2022 Columbus Day Grand Marshall. Well done on all of your achievements and we are honored that she humbly accepted this award . I am looking forward to seeing many of you at our 6th Annual Sgt. Paul Tuozzolo Memorial Golf Outing on Thurdsay June 15th at Timber Point Golf Course in Great River, long Island. Always a sold out event. A job well done by our own board officer Tommy Rao! I want to thank the entire Columbia Board for all their hard work and dedication as we approach our very near summer as we spend time with our beloved families. A special thanks to our President Anthony Burgio. Your dedication comes with frustration and many phone calls every day throughout your presidency and it is well noted. As you continue to steer the ship into the future, I just want to say well done and Thank you for all that you do for this amazing association. If anyone needs anything please reach out to myself or any board member at any time.

Hello Life Members hope your holidays
went well for you and your families.
Outside of some bitter cold days around
the holidays we had a pretty mild winter. Let’s wish we have a good spring to be able to get out and play some golf and tennis and the
new sensation Pickle Ball.
