• Retaining walls that exceed these height restrictions may be considered on a case by case basis provided that they are not obtrusively visible from off site. On Hillside Homesites, higher wallsmaybeusedwhenitisdemonstratedtotheDRBthatsuch
a solution would reduce the overall impacts to the site. Substantial landscape screens are required on walls that exceed 6 feet to reduce off-site visibility.
• Terracedwallstructureswithampleplantingpockets(minimum4 feet wide) are to be used where grade changes exceed the maximum retaining wall height for the Homesite.
