• Roof designs are to draw from the forms prevalent in the island traditions.  ose roofs were generally hip or gable forms and smaller in size to increase strength:
• Roof pitches for single pitch roof forms are to be 4:12 to 12:12. Doublepitchroofsmayutilizeaminimum5:12roofforthemain body of the roof and a minimum 3:12 roof over the porch elements. Shed roof elements may utilize 2:12 to 4:12 pitches. Flat roof sections may be acceptable on porches and connecting elements.
