e color of exterior elements is generally to be complementary of the primary colors found in the surrounding environment. Accent colors are to be used judiciously to add warmth and visual interest.
In order to ensure clean and healthy indoor air quality, the use of paints, coatings, and other finishes with low levels of VOCs is encouraged for use on interior and exterior walls, details and other elements.
• Generally, color palettes should reflect colors from the surrounding setting,whichvaryperHomesiteType.OceanfrontHomesitesare to utilize lighter neutral tones. Mid-tone and darker more “natural” colors should be used on higher lands, including all Hillside Homesites, to blend into the hillsides.
