This project was constrained by an existing non- conforming house on the site, and was required keep portions of the existing home and t inside a restrictive buildable volume. The open-tread wood and steel central stair connects all three levels, and the master suite has a view towards the Ballard neighborhood and the Olympic Mountains. Custom cabinets throughout the home take the place of traditional closets, for a more modern look and feel.
