GROUND LEVEL VIEW OF SATURN V
The huge 363-foot-tall Saturn V rocket stands on Pad A, Launch Complex 39 of Kennedy Space Center, Florida, during a countdown test prior to the launch of the Apollo 13 mission on March 24, 1970. Except for the small capsule that houses the astronauts, every part of the gigantic rocket was discarded after being used during a mission.
