APOLLO 11 LAUNCH
The Apollo 11 mission liftoff at 9:32 a.m. (EDT) in July 16, 1969, from Kennedy Space Center’s launch complex. On board the Apollo spacecraft were the astronauts Neil Armstrong, Michael Collins and Buzz Aldrin. Apollo 11 was the first lunar landing mission.
